We have a rich historical heritage dating back to the 1850’s and you can travel back in time by visiting our local historical sites and tours, and yet you are only 2 hours to Sacramento and 4 hours to San Francisco.
We are growing fast, but still have that small town atmosphere you desire. With the Sierra Nevada mountains on one side and the high-desert vistas on the other, Carson Valley is an oasis of small towns surrounded by farms, ranches and houses along the foothills.
